The exciting thing about choosing a Mongrel or mixed-breed dog is that you never really know what they’ll look like when they’re older. If you know their parentage then you can form an educated guess, but often these canines can be quite unusual.
They are also a lot cheaper to buy than purebred dogs and can have fewer health problems as they have not been interbred.
However, as the Mongrel’s ancestry is often unknown, there can be health complications in later life especially if you rescued your dog from a possibly traumatic background.
